We are pleased to have Carol Caba as our Featured Quilter this year.
Carol will be doing a special presentation each day titled “Quilting through the Ages” this presentation is at 1:30 pm.
Carol will be sharing changes in fabrics and quilting from the early 1600’s to today and will have treasured quilts on display during the presentation.
Carol is a retired elementary teacher whose background in sewing began at age 8 in 4-H. A move to a new school brought her into the path of quilting mentor, Billie Farley.
She was soon obsessed with quilting and has not looked back. Carol first hand quilted but soon began quilting on her domestic machine then moved on to a Gammhill long arm. Her quilts represent a love of Civil War reproduction fabric as well as hand appliqué.
